Sr. Principal Systems Engineer - Medical Device

Senior Principal Systems Engineer role at Medtronic focused on cardiac ablation technology. Provides technical leadership for system integration, interface testing, and deployment in electrophysiology hospital environments. Based in Minnesota or Massachusetts with onsite requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams developing integration, characterization, and troubleshooting testing documentation
- Build systems engineering expertise and identify application opportunities within assigned work
- Support marketing, field engineering, technical services with technical guidance and answers
- Propose and implement system and process improvements
- Travel less than 20% annually
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years relevant experience, or Master's with 8+ years, or PhD with 6+ years
- Advanced systems engineering expertise defining systems architecture
- Medical device industry experience
- Electrophysiology knowledge and hospital environment familiarity (preferred)
- Design Controls application for medical devices (preferred)
- Cross-functional strategy and influence capabilities (preferred)
Compensation: $164,000–$246,000 base salary (USD)
