Family Matters DMH is hiring Direct Support Professional Job Types: Part-time & Full-time Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 depending on experience Requirements for position: High School Diploma or GED Reliable transportation Automotive insurance You must be able to pass a back ground check or provide a good cause waiver SIGN ON BONUS AFTER THREE MONTHS FOR FULL TIME NEW EMPLOYEES (DOES NOT APPLY TO REHIRES) Holiday Pay if you work the said holiday * Med Aid level 1 and CPR/ First aid training is offered by the company to the right individuals. DSPs work directly with individuals. Following their individualized support plan. This means they'll often spend extended hours in the home or care facilities of their clients, and help provide day-to-day care with activities such as showering, toileting, transferring, eating, traveling, scheduling appointments, handling finances, administering medications, and more. DSP's must be able to cook meals for the client. The client is encouraged and expected to do all of these things to the best of their ability.
