If you are interested in exploring the possibilities We Want to Talk to You!Role OverviewWe are seeking an Agency MBS Investment Strategist, Vice President, to support market coverage, client engagement, and the development of actionable insights across the Agency MBS space within Santander’s U.S. Corporate Investment Banking. This role will work closely with internal partners and external clients, providing market intelligence, relative value analysis, and product insight to support investment discussions and client needs. ResponsibilitiesCover the Agency MBS market, with a focus on pass-throughs, CMOs, and mortgage derivativesMonitor these markets closely daily to assess relative value and changes in demand across asset classesAnalyze market data, trends, and client activity to develop actionable insightsPrepare reports, market updates, and written commentary for internal stakeholders and clientsPartner directly with clients to understand their needs and provide relevant market color and investment ideasTranslate client objectives and market developments into clear, tailored solutionsCollaborate with internal teams to support business development and client coverage effortsDeliver presentations and communicate market views clearly and effectively to a range of audiences QualificationsStrong understanding of Agency MBS products, including pass-throughs, CMOs, and mortgage derivativesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilitiesStrong selling skills and the ability to engage effectively with institutional clientsStrong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate them into relevant solutionsCommercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities across changing market conditionsHighly motivated, ambitious, and entrepreneurial approachAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment EducationBachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceFINRA Series 7 and Series 63 Diversity & EEO Statements: At Santander, we value and respect differences in our workforce and strive to increase the diversity of our teams.
