TIG Welder / Fabricator – 1st Shift Location: Dover, PA Pay: $22.00–$27.00 per hour, based on experience Shift: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM Position Overview We are hiring an experienced TIG Welder / Fabricator to join a metal fabrication and manufacturing team in Dover, PA. This is a hands-on welding position focused on producing clean, accurate, high-quality welds on fabricated metal parts and components. The ideal candidate has solid TIG welding experience, strong attention to detail, and takes pride in precision fabrication work. What You'll Do Perform TIG welding on fabricated metal parts and components Set up and operate TIG welding equipment for assigned production work Fit, position, and weld components according to job requirements Read and follow blueprints, fabrication drawings, work orders, and production instructions Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for quality and accuracy Identify weld defects, fit-up issues, or other quality concerns Prepare parts and materials for welding and fabrication Perform grinding, cleaning, and finishing of welded components as needed Use basic measuring and inspection tools to verify completed work Maintain welding equipment, tools, and an organized work area Follow established manufacturing, quality, and safety procedures Work independently and as part of the fabrication and production team Qualifications Previous hands-on TIG welding experience Experience working in welding, metal fabrication, manufacturing, or a related production environment Ability to produce clean, consistent welds Ability to read and follow blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work instructions Basic understanding of metal fabrication and weld fit-upAbility to use basic measuring and inspection tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Relevant Experience Experience in the following areas may be especially relevant: TIG welding GTAW welding Precision welding Metal fabrication Welder fabrication Production welding Manufacturing welding Weld fit-up Blueprint reading Welding symbols Weld inspection Grinding and finishing Fabricated metal components Measuring and inspection tools Candidates with previous experience as a TIG Welder, TIG Welder/Fabricator, Welder Fabricator, Fabrication Welder, Production Welder, Manufacturing Welder, Welding Technician, or Metal Fabricator may be a strong fit. Pay ranges from $22.00–$27.00 per hour based on experience, with a first-shift schedule of 6:00 AM–3:00 PM.
