High School English Teacher

Overview Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a full-time high school English teacher at Bethany High School. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and have a strong background in English literature and language arts. Responsibilities Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and standards Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that fosters student learning and growth Use a variety of teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience for students Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in teaching and learning Attend staff meetings and school events as required Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in English or a related field (Master\'s degree preferred) Oklahoma Teaching certification required in English or related field Strong knowledge of English literature and language arts Experience teaching high school students Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administrators Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth #J-18808-Ljbffr
