Filter Service Technician I (HVAC)

Position: Filter Service Technician I (HVAC) Location: Cedar Grove, NJ Key Responsibilities Install HVAC filters in various air handlers. Perform visual inspections of each unit during service. Document any deficiencies and forward them to the manager for customer contact. Maintain the service truck in accordance with vehicle specifications. Account for all tools. Load the truck and keep it clean. Communicate with site personnel upon arrival and explain the day's tasks. Remove and dispose of all trash created during the work. Obtain necessary paperwork signatures. Make deliveries and pickups when required. Perform other duties as assigned. Date and initialize filters in the filter bank. Collaborate effectively with team members (must be a team player). Climb all types of ladders and work at heights. Maintain cleanliness of debris and spent filters on rooftops and dispose of them properly. Occasionally travel out of town for service jobs. Assist in the warehouse when not on a service job. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Basic math and reading skills. Transportation to and from the branch office. Ability to climb ladders and work at heights. Capability to lift up to 75 lbs. Experience working indoors and outdoors. Experience driving box trucks of various sizes. Forklift experience is a plus. Comfortable with hand tools. Valid driver’s license. Clean driving record. Eligibility to pass a drug panel and DOT physical examination. Full‑time availability.
