Project Manager - Millwork / Building Materials

We are hiring an experienced Project Manager to support millwork and building materials projects in the Greensboro, NC area.

This role is ideal for someone with experience coordinating construction-related projects involving windows, interior and exterior doors, mouldings, trim, and specialty building products. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing project details from order coordination through delivery, installation support, and closeout while communicating with customers, vendors, installers, and internal teams.

The right candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple active projects while keeping schedules, materials, documentation, and customer expectations on track.

Responsibilities

• Manage millwork and building materials projects from order coordination through completion
• Coordinate windows, interior doors, exterior doors, mouldings, trim, and specialty product scopes
• Review project plans, takeoffs, scopes of work, product specifications, schedules, and customer requirements
• Coordinate with customers, builders, contractors, vendors, suppliers, installers, and internal teams
• Track product orders, lead times, delivery schedules, installation needs, and project updates
• Communicate regularly with customers and project stakeholders regarding timelines, changes, and issues
• Identify and resolve material delays, product issues, scheduling conflicts, or field concerns
• Maintain organized project documentation, order details, communication records, and status updates
• Support estimating, purchasing, scheduling, and closeout activities as needed
• Ensure projects are completed accurately, professionally, and aligned with customer expectations

Requirements

• 3+ years of project management, coordination, or construction-related experience preferred
• Experience with building materials, millwork, windows, doors, trim, mouldings, or specialty products preferred
• Strong understanding of construction schedules, product coordination, vendor communication, and project documentation
• Ability to read and understand plans, scopes of work, takeoffs, specifications, and project documents
• Strong communication skills with customers, builders, contractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-up
• Ability to manage multiple projects, orders, and deadlines at once
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to keep projects moving without constant supervision
• Comfortable working in an office and coordinating with field/install teams as needed
• Local to the Greensboro, NC area or able to reliably commute
