Facilities Supervisor

Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Dental insurance Job Title Facilities Supervisor Schedule Full‑Time Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM Nights and weekends as needed for projects or emergencies Position Summary The Facilities Supervisor ensures all gym facilities remain safe, clean, and fully operational. This role oversees building maintenance, fitness equipment repairs, housekeeping operations, and the Facility Ticketing System. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, vendor coordination, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and member safety. Key Responsibilities Building maintenance : plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and preventative maintenance tasks Fitness equipment repair and preventative care Housekeeping supervision : support hiring, training, scheduling, and performance Train staff on cleaning standards and chemical safety Implement cleaning schedules and conduct quality inspections Maintain pool, spa, and sauna areas; ensure chemical balance and safety Perform routine HVAC, electrical, and plumbing PM tasks Complete carpentry repairs, lighting replacements, and painting projects Update and manage the Facility Ticketing System for all work orders and PM tasks Collaborate with approved vendors and order necessary parts Qualifications High School Diploma preferred Certifications in plumbing , mechanical , or electrical trades preferred 3–5 years maintenance experience; fitness facility experience preferred Ability to read manuals and follow written instructions Basic computer skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Skilled with hand tools and some power tools Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks Flexibility for after‑hours or weekend work when needed Reliable transportation required Compensation: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour From a single gym in Venice Beach, California in 1965 to a global symbol of strength and performance, Gold’s Gym has defined serious training for nearly six decades.
