Welder III

Klover SEPA Inc.

The WelderIII position is expected to independently produce welds that support theprefabrication of exterior and interior wall panels for commercial buildingsand provide mentorship for Welder I and Welder II.

Essential(Core Competencies) Duties

Read andinterpret shop drawings.

Gather andcollect materials.

Determine theappropriate welding equipment or method based on specifications and shopdrawings.

Accuratelymeasure and cut miscellaneous materials.

Perform panellayout in accordance with drawings.

Pre-assemblepanel components in preparation for weld.

Perform weldsto ensure panel stays secured.

Weldcomponents using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in variouspositions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)

Mentor andcoach Welder I and Welder II's as assigned by management.

Attendsand/or completes welder and safety training (through KLOVER Learning ManagementSystem) as required by management.

Maintainswelding maintenance logs for welder certifications to remain current.

MarginalFunctions

Performsheathing of welded panels.

Other dutiesas assigned.

Qualifications/ Preferred Education and Experience

High schooldiploma or GED.

10+ years MIGwelding experience (or a combination of pre or post-secondary education inwelding and work experience).

Experience ina manufacturing environment.


Tradeschool/vocational education in construction/carpentry and/or general carpentryexperience.

Current AWSD1.1 GMAW and/or SMAW certifications and ability to re-certify.

WorkEnvironment

The workenvironment will consist mainly of heavy work in a manufacturing environment.There may be some exposure to seasonal humidity and extreme heat over 85degrees, excessive noise, and some vibration associated with the use of toolsand equipment. Some hazards such as proximity to moving mechanical parts,electrical current, caustic chemical, and slippery and uneven walking surfacesexist.

PhysicalRequirements

Due to thephysical nature of the position, employee must have full dexterity of theirhands and arms.


Employee mustbe able to see objects close and far away

At times,multiple sounds can be heard as employee is working on job, employee must havethe ability to focus on the sound in particular that is associated with thetask they are completing. Employees withany sort of hearing impairment would not be considered fit for duty to performthis position.

Due to thesafety sensitive nature of the position, at all times, employee must be fit forduty and not report to work under the influence of a mind altering orperformance altering substance. At notime, should employee be found to be possessing or using a mind or performancealtering substance while performing any Company task.
