Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) Missoula, Montana. The role includes both inpatient care and potential in-home visits, with rotating shifts including nights and weekends.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 3-12 shift, primarily night and weekend shifts with possible day shift coverage as needed. This position guarantees 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (Compact or Montana); Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in hospice, palliative care, critical care, or med-surg; Experience working in a unionized healthcare environment (for RNs); Strong clinical judgment and communication skills; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The RN will deliver patient care focusing on comfort and symptom management, supervise and delegate tasks to Certified Nursing Assistants, participate in interdisciplinary team rounds, provide emotional support to families and caregivers, and ensure documentation and infection control protocols are followed. This role involves primarily inpatient care with potential to support in-home hospice visits based on census demands.
