Salary Range: $30.36 - $43.49 Hourly

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for managing or administering a wide-range of responsibilities to support day-to-day administration of an academic or non-academic organization(s). Administrative support includes planning and/or development; interprets, monitors, and analyzes information regarding policies and procedures; special projects or assignments that are moderately sensitive or complex, requiring a level of independence and initiative in execution and implementation. Handles details and oversees work of a confidential and critical nature to support. Demonstrates good judgement in determining methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 years minimum of business operations and/or administration experience.
  • Ability to use high-level discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Proficient knowledge of common computer application programs (MS Office Suite- Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Solid and proven analytical / problem solving skills.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills sufficient to work effectively with university-wide and campus-wide administrators, deans, department chair, faculty and staff both orally and written.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of academic and/or administrative structure of institutions of higher education.
