Material Handler / Crane Operator

Schedule:

6:00AM - 2:30PM (Overtime available)

Job Summary:

Material handler needs to be able to operate a forklift/ overhead crane efficiently. They need experience in a steel shop recognizing different materials (Wide Flange Beams, Tubes, Pipe, Channels, Angles)

Responsibilities:

Operate an overhead crane to safely move and position materials
Load and unload steel products
Handle large structural steel beams approximately 40–60 feet long
Safely move and stage heavy steel materials
Work both inside and outside depending on operational needs
Work safely around large and heavy steel products
Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines

Qualifications:

MUST have previous crane operating experience
Overhead crane experience REQUIRED
Experience handling steel or other heavy materials preferred
Comfortable working around large/heavy steel products
Able to work safely in an industrial environment
