Payroll Manager $115000 - $140000 per year | Fort Worth, TX | On-site | Permanent Multi-State Payroll | Hands-On Leadership | ADP Workforce Now A bit about us: A large, multi-entity organization headquartered in Fort Worth is hiring a Payroll Manager to lead payroll across a growing, multi-location organization. This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with Finance, HR, and Operations leadership. The Payroll Manager will lead a small team while staying involved in the day-to-day function, with ownership over payroll processes, reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement. Reports directly to the CFO Strong benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, and many others High visibility across senior leadership Large, multi-entity and multi-location organization Lead a small, experienced payroll team Broad ownership of the payroll function Opportunity to improve processes, reporting, and controls Continued company growth and long-term stability Competitive base salary + 10% bonus Job Details Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day payroll function across a large, multi-location organization, with ownership of accuracy, timing, and overall execution Manage and support a small payroll team while remaining hands-on with processing, review, approvals, and troubleshooting Oversee biweekly payroll along with separate commission, bonus, and incentive compensation runs Ensure payroll is processed accurately across multiple states, locations, and employee groups Own payroll taxes, deductions, garnishments, final pay, retro adjustments, and related compliance requirements Manage quarter-end and year-end activities, including reconciliations, W-2s, amendments, and reporting Partner with HR, Finance, Accounting, and Operations on payroll questions, escalations, and process improvements Use ADP Workforce Now and Excel to improve reporting, controls, and payroll efficiency Desired Qualifications Strong hands-on multi-state payroll experience ADP Workforce Now experience required Experience managing multiple locations, pay groups, and payroll cycles Experience with commissions, bonuses, or incentive compensation Prior payroll leadership experience with direct reports or team oversight Strong payroll tax, wage/hour, reconciliation, and year-end knowledge Comfortable supporting both hourly and salaried employee populations Strong Excel, auditing, and payroll reporting skills CPP preferred, not required Equal Opportunity Statement Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
