Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Title Physical Therapist Location California Schedule / Job Type Contract | Full-Time (40 hours/week) | Flexible Schedule | Onsite | Day Shift Key Responsibilities Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction Conduct 60-minute evaluations and treatments in an outpatient setting, progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals Participate in student programs as assigned, providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and regulatory requirements, maintaining professional licensure in good standing and completing all state-mandated continuing education requirements Required Qualifications Active Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of California Prior outpatient physical therapy experience required — new graduates will not be considered Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans Knowledge of and adherence to discipline-specific professional codes of conduct and state practice acts Proficiency in medical record documentation in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines Preferred Experience / Skills Experience participating in or supervising student clinical education programs Active involvement in continuing education, professional organizations, or self-directed professional development initiatives Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality of care initiatives Why Join Us Work in a collaborative outpatient environment with a flexible schedule that supports work-life balance Opportunity to contribute to a safety-focused, patient-centered culture while advancing your own professional development Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 767268.
