Physical Therapist – General, Davenport, WA, United States. This travel assignment starts on 09/08/2026 for 13 contract weeks in a hospital setting. Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and diagnose movement dysfunction; develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans to improve physical function after injury or surgery
- Provide treatment through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities; educate patients on home programs and self-management
- Maintain detailed patient records, track progress, and communicate status to physicians, nurses, families, and other members of the care team
- Reassess and adjust treatment plans based on patient response and goals; ensure patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions
- Collaborate with other rehabilitation professionals and care team members to optimize outcomes; maintain professional relationships and patient confidentiality
- Document care plans and outcomes, ensuring compliance with professional standards and facility policies

Requirements
- Education: Masters degree from an accredited physical therapy program
- Licenses/Certifications: Current Physical Therapist license active to practice in Washington; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Experience: Experience working directly with patients in a long-term care or hospital setting
- Skills: Strong documentation skills, excellent verbal communication, teamwork, and the ability to provide age-appropriate care
- Eligibility: Ability to work in a hospital-based setting as part of a travel assignment
