Job Title: Operating Room Circulating RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 (07:00 - 15:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; PALS, NRP preferred Must-Have: - Experience with endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy, EGD, and laparoscopic-assisted cases. - Skills in general surgery procedures such as appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, and hernia repair. - Proficient in gynecological surgeries including abdominal and vaginal hysterectomy, bilateral tubal ligation, and C-sections. - Experience in ophthalmology, specifically cataract extraction/implant. - Skills in orthopedic surgeries including ACL reconstruction, arthroscopy, and total joint replacement. - Knowledge of pediatric general surgery procedures like appendectomy. Description: Operating Room Circulating RN for day shifts (Monday to Friday). Responsible for circulating in the operating room. On-call duties required (every fourth weekday and weekend, some holidays). Work settings include Ambulatory OR and General OR. Skills in infection control and patient safety are essential. Additional preferred skills include bronchoscopy and ear/nose/throat procedures. The ability to integrate with interdisciplinary teams is important. Candidates must have a permanent address within specified distances from the facility. References from previous managers or charge nurses are required. All required certifications must be up-to-date and valid.
