Video Producer & Content Editor

Flying Point Media Group (FPMG) is a growing marketing and media company based in Southampton, NY, seeking a full-time Video Producer & Content Editor to join our team. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented self-starter who is passionate about video production, podcast content, and short-form digital storytelling. The position focuses on producing high-quality video and audio content for clients across podcasts, livestreams, YouTube Shorts, short-form social media platforms, website marketing, and promotional materials. Key Responsibilities Produce and edit long-form podcast and livestream recordings into polished final content Create original video content for client use across websites, marketing campaigns, and promotional materials, as well as short‑form content optimized for YouTube Shorts and social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) Oversee end‑to‑end video production workflow from raw footage through final delivery Collaborate closely with social media, operations, sales, and marketing teams to develop client‑facing content Organize, manage, and archive video and audio assets and project files Ensure all content is delivered accurately, on‑brand, and on deadline Leverage emerging tools and AI‑powered technologies to enhance production efficiency and creative output Stay current on trends in digital media, short‑form content, and platform best practices Qualifications Experience producing and editing video content for digital platforms (podcasts, social media, or marketing content preferred) Strong proficiency with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent) Familiarity with YouTube Shorts, Reels, TikTok, and other short‑form video formats Understanding of storytelling and engagement strategies for digital audiences Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams Self‑starter with ability to independently manage projects from intake through delivery Comfort using or learning AI tools for video editing, content creation, and workflow optimization Preferred Qualifications Experience with podcast and livestream production/editing Motion graphics experience (After Effects, Canva, or similar tools) Audio editing experience Familiarity with AI‑based editing tools and emerging creative technologies Interest in marketing, branding, and digital storytelling Additional Requirements Must include a portfolio or examples of prior video/production work Full‑time position (40 hours/week) On‑site position based in Southampton, NY Compensation: Commensurate with experience What Success Looks Like The ideal candidate will consistently turn long‑form podcast and livestream content into high‑performing short‑form video assets, as well as original video content for client websites, marketing campaigns, and promotional use, while helping the team adopt new tools and technologies to improve speed, quality, and creativity. #J-18808-Ljbffr Pomona College
