CAD Drafter

TEL Staffing is seeking a CAD Drafter to work for a manufacturing facility in Cantonment FL .

Position Overview:
The CAD Drafter is responsible for creating accurate technical drawings, 3D models, and visualizations that support manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate has experience in Autodesk (AutoCAD) and/or SolidWorks and a solid foundation in design principles, materials, and fabrication processes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using Autodesk and SolidWorks.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to translate concepts into production-ready designs.
• Create renderings, exploded views, and animations for client presentations and approvals.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. Revise and update drawings based on feedback and design changes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and version control of design files.
• Participate in design reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements :

• Proficiency in Autodesk ( AutoCAD ) and/or SolidWorks .
• Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or product development environments-or completed coursework from an accredited college.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical design, fabrication, and construction principles.
• Preferred experience with steel structures, electrical circuits/wiring, or construction detailing.
• Familiarity with design workflows and processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
• Knowledge of dimensioning, tolerancing, and material selection.
• Excellent spatial awareness and strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• MUST be able to pass a preemployment drug screening AND background check .

Schedule:
Full-Time
Monday - Friday ....... 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Salary/Pay Rate:
The starting salary for this position will be based on your current level of experience
