Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Medical Assistant – Primary Care to join an outpatient primary care team in San Jose, CA. The Medical Assistant will work closely with providers and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care, support patient needs, and ensure smooth patient flow.
Key Details- 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience required
- National MA Certification required
- Accepted: AAMA, AMT, NCCT, AMCA, or CCBMA
- EPIC EHR experience preferred
- Outpatient Primary Care setting
- English required; Spanish, Mandarin, or Vietnamese preferred
Responsibilities
- Patient intake, vital signs, and exam preparation
- ECG, specimen collection, venipuncture, and injections
- Patient history, charting, and medical records
- Check-in/check-out, insurance verification, and scheduling
- Patient education and provider support
