Sales Engineer

AbouttheRole TheSalesEngineerservesasatechnicalresourcewithintheSalesDepartment,supportingthesaleteamandcustomersbyprovidingengineeringexpertiseduringthequoting,specification,andprojectdevelopmentphases.Thisrolebridgesthegapbetweensales,engineering,andmanufacturingbyensuringthatcustomerrequirementsareaccuratelytranslatedintotechnicallysoundandcompetitivesolutions. Responsibilities SalesProcess&QuotingSupport Developacomprehensiveunderstandingofthecompany'ssalesprocess,quotingsystems,andproposaldevelopmentprocedures. Assistthesalesteaminpreparingaccurateprojectquotations,includingscopeevaluation,pricing,andtechnicalconfiguration. Performdetailedprojecttake-offsandassistindevelopingprojectbudgetsandequipmentselections. ConductCD&E'sonopportunitiesbroughtbythesalesteam. Mayberesponsibleforgeneratingquotesfromtimetotime. SupportonMoonshotEnergyprojectsrelatedtomodulardatacenterAIbuilds. TechnicalApplicationSupport Providetechnicalsupporttothesalesteamthroughoutthepre-saleandproposalprocess. Assistwithproductconfiguration,systemdesignconsiderations,andequipmentselectiontoensuresolutionsmeetcustomerrequirementsandapplicablestandards. Utilizemanufacturerresources,configurators,andtechnicaldocumentationfromsupplierssuchasSiemens,ABB,andSchneiderElectrictodevelopaccuratesolutions. EngineeringCollaboration Workcloselywiththeengineeringteamtoexpandproductknowledgeandmaintainalignmentbetweenproposedsolutionsandmanufacturingcapabilities. Supportinternalengineeringeffortsbyassistingwithtechnicalreviews,documentation,andprojectclarificationduringthesalescycle. WorkwithMoonshot'sR&Dteamtohelpquoteanddesignnewproducts/productlines. Product&StandardsKnowledgeDevelopment Developastrongunderstandingofthecompany'sproductofferingsandelectricaldistributionequipment. GainworkingknowledgeofUL891standardsandcompliancerequirementsapplicabletoswitchboardsandrelatedequipment. Continuouslybuildexpertiseinsupplierproductlines,configurations,andtechnicalspecifications. Qualifications Bachelor’sdegreeinMechanicalEngineeringorarelatedtechnicalfield 3-5yearsofengineeringexperience;priorsalesexperienceisaplusbutnotrequired Strongtechnicalaptitudeandtheabilitytolearnandexplaincomplexproductstodiverseaudiences Excellentcommunication,presentation,andinterpersonalskills Detail-orientedwithacommitmenttodeliveringthoroughandaccurateproposalsanddocumentation Self-motivated,collaborative,andeagertogrowinahigh-performancesalesenvironment WhyMoonshot?
