Don't miss this associate to hire opportunity for a Maintenance Tech role.Maintenance Tech Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines (lathes, mills, and related equipment) to minimize downtimePerform routine preventative maintenance on CNC machinery and facility equipmentRespond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely and efficient mannerInspect equipment for wear, damage, or safety concerns and recommend corrective actionsMaintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and documentationAssist with installation, setup, and calibration of new machinery and equipmentTroubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsWork closely with production teams to improve machine efficiency and reliabilityEnsure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and OSHA regulationsSupport general facility maintenance as needed (lighting, HVAC, minor repairs, etc.)Maintenance Tech Requirements:2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (CNC preferred)Strong knowledge of CNC machine operations and componentsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsExperience with electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics preferredStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsBasic computer skills for maintenance tracking systemsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periodsMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionallyFrequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reachingAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levelsEquipment used includes CNC machines, hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, multimeters, forkliftsOvertime may be required, including weekends, based on production needsIND091 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
