Laboratory Specialist

Provide assistance with managing lab: order and receive materials, organize training for lab personnel. Establish chemical material safety data sheets. Prepare biosafety manuals for BSL-1 and BSL-2 work.

Knowledge with managing supplies and ordering lab consumables, growth media, chemicals, and oligonucleotides. Experience with lab-related chemicals and biological safety training. Experience organizing safety data sheets.

Experience with HokieMart.

Pay Band: 2

Overtime Status: Non-Exempt: Eligible for overtime

Salary Information: $15.00 - $22.00
