Our client is a roadway system and as a part of their digital transformation they are implementing a solution based on SAP BRIM & Microsoft Dynamics CE.

Data-Core Systems Inc. is seeking an SAP Business Rule Framework Plus (BRF+) Developerto be a part of our Consulting team. You will participate and effectively contribute to the design, development, and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. You will provide technical expertise and systems design for individual initiatives. You will have an opportunity to work with other SME consultants from our existing team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

SAP BRF+ Development & Configuration.

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain SAP BRF+ applications and business rules.
• Develop and support:
  • Decision tables.
  • Rulesets.
  • Expressions.
  • Functions.
  • Validations.
  • Rule-based workflows.
    
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical BRF+ solutions.
• Build reusable and scalable rule frameworks and components.

SAP Application Integration.

• Integrate BRF+ solutions with SAP applications including:
  • SAP S/4HANA.
  • SAP BRIM.
  • SAP FI-CA.
  • SAP HCM.
  • SAP SD.
  • SAP MM.
  • SAP FSCM.
• Support event-driven and workflow-based business process automation.
• Collaborate with the integration teams to support APIs, middleware, and interface requirements.

Technical Design & Development.

• Develop technical specifications and architecture documentation for BRF+ solutions.
• Perform ABAP development and enhancements related to BRF+ integrations as needed.
• Support custom enhancements, forms, validations, and business process logic implementations.
• Ensure coding standards, technical best practices, and governance requirements are followed.

Business Rules Automation.

• Support automation of business processes including:
  • Financial validations.
  • Billing rules.
  • Workflow approvals.
  • Compliance checks.
  • Customer and account processing.
  • Data validation and transformation.
• Optimize existing business rules for maintainability and performance.

Testing & Quality Assurance.

• Develop and execute:
  • Unit testing.
  • Integration testing.
  • Functional testing.
  • User acceptance testing (UAT).
• Validate business rule execution and integration functionality.
• Support defect analysis, debugging, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Ensure solution quality, stability, and auditability.

Performance Optimization & Support.

• Analyze and optimize BRF+ application performance and rule execution efficiency.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and system defects in development, QA, and production environments.
• Participate in production support, deployments, and maintenance activities.
• Support system upgrades and enhancement initiatives.

Documentation & Governance.

• Create and maintain:
  • Technical specifications.
  • Rule documentation.
  • Process flows.
  • Operational procedures.
  • Configuration documentation.
• Support governance processes for rule lifecycle management and change control.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture and security standards.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement.

• Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, architects, and technical teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Participate in technical design sessions, workshops, and architecture reviews.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to internal support teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of SAP technical development experience.
• 3+ years of direct experience developing SAP BRF+ solutions.
• Proven experience supporting enterprise SAP implementations and business process automation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of SAP development standards and enterprise application integration.
• Hands-on experience developing:
  • BRF+ decision tables.
  • Rulesets.
  • Expressions.
  • Functions.
  • Validation frameworks.
    
• Strong ABAP development experience including:
  • Enhancements.
  • User exits.
  • BADIs.
  • Interfaces.
  • Web services.
    
• Experience integrating BRF+ with:
  • SAP FI-CA.
  • SAP BRIM.
  • SAP S/4HANA.
  • Workflow and approval processes.
• Strong understanding of:
  • SAP architecture.
  • Business process automation.
  • APIs and middleware integration.
  • Performance optimization.
  • Security and compliance standards.
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving abilities.
  
• Strong software development and debugging capabilities.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  

Required Education and Certifications:

• Preferred certifications include one or more of the following:

• • SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver.
  • SAP Certified Development Associate - SAP S/4HANA Extensibility.
  • SAP BRIM-related certifications preferred.
  • SAP S/4HANA technical certifications are preferred.
  • SAP BTP certifications preferred.

• Bachelors degree in:
  • Computer Science.
