Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' history of substance use and related mental health challenges. \n
- Develop individualized treatment plans that comprehensively address not just addiction but also underlying mental health issues, setting realistic and measurable goals. \n
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices that are effective in treating substance use disorders. \n
- Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that clients receive integrative and cohesive care throughout their recovery journey. \n
- Educate and support clients' family members, promoting their involvement in treatment processes to reinforce support systems. \n
- Adhere to regulatory requirements by maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment activities. \n
We serve a diverse clientele grappling with various forms of substance abuse, including alcohol, opioids, and stimulants, as well as co-occurring mental health disorders. Our clients range from young adults to older individuals, requiring therapists who are adept in understanding the complexities of addiction across different demographics. Your role will be crucial in tailoring interventions that resonate with clients’ unique backgrounds and experiences.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A valid license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required. \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is required to ensure a strong theoretical foundation for client treatment. \n
- Specialized training and/or experience in addiction counseling, ensuring you are well-prepared to face the complexities of this patient population. \n
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices for treating substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders, providing clients with the most effective therapeutic options. \n
- Demonstrated therapeutic and counseling skills, including the ability to inspire and motivate clients during their recovery journey. \n
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team-oriented environment. \n
Preference will be given to candidates who possess:
