Job Overview:
The Senior Systems Analyst will play a pivotal role in defining, governing, and advancing enterprise data platform capabilities. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of enterprise data platforms, governance, and technology alignment. The role involves working closely with platform leaders, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business strategies into actionable platform initiatives and roadmaps. The ideal candidate will influence decisions across organizational boundaries, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Platform Product Owners and business stakeholders to drive platform strategy, governance, portfolio management, and technology alignment.
• Develop and maintain multi-year platform roadmaps aligned with business objectives, technology priorities, and industry trends.
• Identify platform capability gaps, risks, dependencies, and investment opportunities while facilitating strategic planning discussions.
• Establish and support governance processes for platform investments, demand intake, prioritization, and portfolio management.
• Evaluate and prioritize platform initiatives, including the development of business cases and investment recommendations.
• Translate business objectives into platform capability requirements, ensuring alignment with regulatory, operational, security, and strategic needs.
• Collaborate with business leaders, architects, engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to drive cross-functional alignment and informed technology decisions.
• Develop executive presentations, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting materials for leadership reviews and governance forums.
• Monitor portfolio performance, roadmap execution, benefit realization, and strategic objectives to ensure delivery of expected outcomes.
• Support the establishment and adoption of platform standards, policies, governance frameworks, and best practices.
• Facilitate governance reviews, risk assessments, compliance activities, and audit support.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience within enterprise-scale data organizations.
• 8+ years of experience in business analysis, technology strategy, portfolio management, product or platform management, data analytics, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating executive-level stakeholder engagement and supporting large-scale technology transformation initiatives.
• Proven ability to develop strategic roadmaps, business cases, governance frameworks, and long-term technology plans.
• Strong expertise in strategic planning, portfolio and demand management, business process analysis, and decision-support methodologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Working knowledge of enterprise data platforms, cloud and hybrid architectures, data warehousing, data integration, analytics, and business intelligence solutions.
• Familiarity with data governance, data quality, metadata management, data cataloging, security controls, access management, and data observability practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead, collaborate, and influence across cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Comfortable mentoring others and acting as a senior advisor on complex data and analytics initiatives.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Snowflake, Oracle Exadata, Denodo, Talend, Informatica Data Catalog, and Power BI.
• Knowledge of data governance programs, data security programs, and cloud platform services.
• Experience with Agile portfolio management and technology investment planning.

Pay Range: $60 - $65
