VP/AVP, Lead AI Engineer, Group Infrastructure & Cloud, Group Technology

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Lead AI Engineer to drive the development and implementation of advanced AI solutions across our organization, with a particular focus on Agentic AI to optimize our networking infrastructure. In this leadership role, you will guide a team in designing, building, and optimizing AI-powered applications that deliver significant business value and innovation. Your expertise in AI frameworks, large language models (LLMs), cutting-edge data retrieval techniques, and agentic systems will be crucial in shaping our AI strategy and execution within the networking domain.

• Lead Agentic AI Solution Development for Networking: Oversee the design, development, and deployment of complex AI solutions, specifically focusing on agentic AI implementations to enhance network automation, predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and intelligent network management.
• Architect and Innovate Network AI Systems: Lead the architectural design of end-to-end Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows, agentic AI systems, and other AI solutions tailored for networking environments, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and robustness.
• Strategic Collaboration with Networking Teams: Partner with networking stakeholders to define AI initiatives, translate strategic goals into technical requirements for network-focused AI agents, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
• Team Leadership and Mentorship: Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of AI engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in agentic AI development.
• Performance Optimization and Governance for Network AI: Establish best practices for AI model evaluation, optimization, and monitoring within networking contexts. Ensure AI solutions adhere to performance standards, risk management guidelines, and regulatory requirements specific to network operations.
• Stay Ahead of AI Trends (Agentic AI & Networking): Drive research and adoption of emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and methodologies, especially in agentic AI and its application in networking, recommending strategic advancements for our AI roadmap.
• Problem Solving & Quality Assurance for Network AI: Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex AI-related issues in network environments and ensure the delivery of high-quality, well-documented AI solutions.

• Extensive AI Engineering Experience with Agentic AI Focus: Proven track record in developing and deploying scalable AI applications, with a strong foundation in Python and demonstrated experience in designing and implementing agentic AI systems.
• Deep AI Framework Expertise: Advanced proficiency with leading AI frameworks, including hands-on experience in LLM orchestration, vector databases, prompt engineering, and frameworks for building AI agents.
• Mastery of RAG Systems: Demonstrated expertise in enhancing LLMs with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems
• Leadership and Mentorship: Prior experience leading technical teams, mentoring engineers, and driving complex AI projects to successful completion.
• DevOps for AI & MLOps: Strong understanding and experience with DevOps practices for AI, including CI/CD pipelines for model deployment, monitoring, and management, especially for agentic systems.
• Strategic Vision for AI in Networking preferred: Capacity to identify strategic opportunities for agentic AI to automate and optimize network processes, proactively detect and resolve network issues, and deliver tangible efficiency gains will be highly preferred.
• Cross-platform Development: Proficient in developing solutions across Unix and Windows environments.
• Exceptional Problem-Solving: Superior analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
