Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 years of OR RN experience License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, EPIC certification Must-Have: - Experience in Level 1 trauma centers - Preferred experience in ENT, GU, Plastics, and Burns Description: Join a Level 1 Trauma Operating Room team. The team performs a variety of surgeries, including General, Robotic, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant. Provide care during surgical procedures. Focus on circulating for Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases. Work closely with the surgical team. Maintain patient records using a designated electronic health record system. Call is required Monday to Friday from 9 PM to 6:30 AM, and weekends with holiday coverage as needed. This is a variable shift position, requiring flexibility for days/evenings and different shift lengths. Additional responsibilities may include floating to different units within the organization as needed. The daily surgical census averages 45-50 procedures. The unit consists of an 18-bed Operating Room. Candidates must be proactive in completing all necessary credentialing requirements promptly. Two professional references are required, with at least one reference from a managerial position. Candidates must have graduated from an accredited nursing program.
