Construction Defect Attorney | Fort Lauderdale, FL (Hybrid) – $150K
\n \nLocation/Schedule: Fort Lauderdale, FL (Hybrid)
\nBase Salary: $150K
\nPractice: Junior associate seat. Florida construction defect, premises accidents on job sites, and contractor defense. Owners, GCs, subcontractors, and carriers.
\nOur client is an AV Preeminent defense firm with 80+ attorneys and 10 offices. The construction group covers Northeast Florida. This seat is for a junior associate who already has a bar card and wants depositions and hearings early. It is not a clerkship.

What You’ll Actually Do:
\n- \n
- Defend Florida construction defect and job-site claims. \n
- Draft discovery, motions, and expert disclosures. \n
- Take and defend depositions as the file allows. \n
- Work indemnity and additional-insured issues with the senior lawyers on the case. \n
Requirements:
\n- \n
- JD and active Florida bar \n
- 1–3 years post-bar construction, insurance defense, or civil litigation — current Associate \n
- Law clerks and summer associates will not be considered \n
- Drafting experience on litigation files; deposition experience is a plus, not a requirement \n
