Job Description
Registered Nurse - Endoscopy

Schedule

4x10-hour shifts, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM, with varying days off based on department needs. Monday and Friday days off cannot be guaranteed.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 8 weeks. On-call requirements include weeknights, weekends, and holidays, with approximately 4-6 shifts per month. Float required in PreAn/PACU if needed.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Mandatory competency in phlebotomy and placing IVs.
• Experience with equipment such as ERBE, Olympus scopes/processors, Super-D, Bravo, VCE, Manometry.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the endoscopy unit.
• Assist in various procedural-based patient diagnoses.
• Prepare and monitor patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
• Perform necessary interventions based on the specific needs of the patients.
• Maintain a safe and efficient clinical environment.
