Bank Branch Manager /Financial Center Manager

Position Overview As a Bank Branch Manager (Financial Center Manager), you will serve as both a leader and a producer, driving branch performance while coaching a team to deliver exceptional client experiences. You’ll lead a high‑performing team, oversee daily operations, and play a key role in growing the business through strong client relationships and community engagement. What You’ll Do Lead & develop your team: coach, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team focused on delivering outstanding client experiences; provide ongoing performance feedback, conduct reviews, and support associate growth; foster a positive, accountable, and engaging team culture; lead daily team huddles to align on priorities and drive results. Drive sales & business growth: achieve branch performance goals through personal production and team leadership; generate new business through outbound calling, community involvement, and local networking; build and deepen customer relationships by identifying financial needs and providing tailored solutions; partner with internal teams to connect clients to mortgage, commercial, and investment solutions. Deliver exceptional client experiences: ensure every client interaction reflects SmartBank’s commitment to service excellence; support associates in resolving complex client needs and concerns; promote meaningful, needs‑based conversations that improve clients’ financial wellness. Oversee operations & compliance: manage daily branch operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance; maintain strong knowledge of policies and procedures and coach team members accordingly; ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal controls; monitor branch activity, reporting, and workflows to optimize performance. Support branch administration: maintain a professional and welcoming branch environment; oversee facility upkeep, supplies, and product displays; partner with leadership and HR on staffing, communication, and employee relations matters; represent SmartBank as a brand ambassador within the community. Stay hands‑on in the business: open consumer and business accounts and support lending activities as needed; perform key frontline responsibilities to support the team and client experience; actively contribute to the success of the branch as both a leader and a producer. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent leadership experience. NMLS registration (or ability to obtain). Proven leadership experience in retail banking or a similar environment. Strong sales, business development, and relationship‑building skills. Solid understanding of banking operations, products, and regulatory requirements.
