Developer Marketing Manager

As the Developer Marketing Manager you will be responsible for the creation of an inbound growth engine through developer focused content. As WayScript’s first Marketing hire, you will establish and grow an online developer community through the creation of in-house and a community contributed library of useful information and technical articles. In addition to establishing the publishing process, you will own the content strategy and editorial calendar as well as the social amplification efforts to reach target customers. You will build meaningful relationships with developers and empower them to try and build great tools on WayScript. You Will: Build a world class learning blog with technical development tutorials which bring value to the broader developer community Communicate the value of WayScript to a technical and technically-inclined audience through developer focused educational content Lead a collaborative effort to create an inbound content marketing framework and publication process to drive user growth Establish a plan and business process to build a library of community contributed content Serve as the lead editor for community contributed content Report on key business and marketing metrics for inbound traffic, conversions, engagement and revenue Identify and implement technology and resources needed to support a streamlined publication process Drive the content creation and publication process to ensure content is high quality and process is agile Develop an amplification strategy to drive awareness of new content within the developer ecosystem Requirements: Experience marketing and writing to a discerning technical audience You have worked with marketing, sales, or product teams within a developer focused business The technical skills to build great scripts and demo apps The editorial background and experience to create world-class content You have thoughts about how to distribute content and get your great content in front of developers and business users Ability to prioritize across multiple initiatives based on company objectives and developer community needs The experience to engage and market to developers in contextual and appropriate ways What You’ll Like About WayScript: A fast growing startup with a diverse team A remote friendly culture Flexible PTO Team events Company equity 401k WayScript is an equal opportunity workplace—we are dedicated to equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, or Veteran status.
