Our ideal candidate will know aerial strand and fiber construction, pole line work, underground utility construction, conduit installation, directional boring, and restoration practices.Primary ResponsibilitiesConstruction Operations ManagementManage aerial and underground fiber optic construction projects throughout assigned marketsOversee daily operations for construction crews, subcontractors, and field supervisorsEnsure projects are completed according to customer specifications, engineering standards, and company requirementsMonitor project productivity, manpower utilization, equipment usage, and production goalsPerform field audits and inspections to ensure quality and safety complianceSupport emergency restoration activities and outage response when requiredProject ManagementManage project schedules, budgets, labor utilization, and material forecastingReview daily production reports, work hours, and material usage for accuracyMaintain accurate project documentation, progress reporting, and as-built recordsCoordinate resources and staffing requirements to support project executionIdentify risks and develop solutions to maintain project schedulesCustomer & Team LeadershipServe as a primary point of contact for customers, municipalities, property owners, and project stakeholdersResolve customer concerns and field issues professionallyLead project review meetings and operational updatesProvide training, mentoring, and leadership development for field personnelPromote teamwork, accountability, and operational excellenceSafety & Quality AssuranceEnsure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety programsConduct jobsite safety inspections and quality auditsPromote safe excavation, aerial construction, and traffic control practicesEnsure all work is completed according to customer and industry standardsWhat Success Looks LikeProjects completed safely, on time, and within budgetHigh customer satisfaction and strong client relationshipsEfficient management of labor, equipment, and resourcesStrong field leadership and crew developmentConsistent achievement of production and profitability goalsAccurate reporting, documentation, and project trackingPhysical RequirementsAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to walk active construction sites regularlyAbility to lift up to 50 pounds when necessaryAbility to support field operations throughout the Fresno and Madera marketsParticipation in on-call and emergency response rotations when requiredJoin a company where your leadership matters and your career can grow.
