Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) – Outpatient Clinic

Location: Shelton, CT

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $30–$45/hour

Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our pediatric outpatient clinic in Shelton, CT. In this role, you will provide individualized, evidence-based therapy to children with a variety of developmental, sensory, motor, and self-regulation needs while working closely with families and a multidisciplinary clinical team.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate pediatric patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide engaging occupational therapy sessions focused on developmental goals.
• Address fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, ADLs, self-help, and cognitive skills.
• Educate parents and caregivers on home programs and carryover strategies.
• Complete clinical documentation and billing accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with speech therapists, physical therapists, behavioral specialists, and other providers.
• Participate in team meetings and maintain a safe, child-centered therapy environment.

Qualifications:

• Current Connecticut Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
• NBCOT certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of pediatric occupational therapy experience.
• Pediatric outpatient or clinic experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Passion for working with children and families.
