TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Chesapeake, Virginia, 23320!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of two years of recent relevant experience required. License: Active Virginia or Compact RN license in hand at the time of submission. Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association, ACLS through the American Heart Association required. Must-Have: Candidates must be proficient in Epic. Candidates must be fully pre-closed and comfortable with patient ratios prior to submission. Candidates with any license or background hits will not be considered. Description: Join a dynamic team specializing in post-operative care for various surgery patients. The unit offers a comfortable patient ratio. Care includes monitoring telemetry patients and managing complex medical needs. Floating and holidays within the contract are required. Patient demographics include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The unit is responsible for a daily census of 28 patients. Manage a variety of diagnoses, including orthopedic, bariatric, and colorectal surgeries. Participate in interdisciplinary support including therapy, respiratory services, and phlebotomy. Be prepared for additional responsibilities such as managing blood products and IV care. Strong critical thinking and assessment skills are essential. Successful candidates must demonstrate proficiency in rhythm interpretation and manage cardiac drips as needed.
