Installation Technician (NexGen - Breathitt County)

Location : Jackson, KY (and surrounding service area)

Job type : Technician Internet Installation (1099 Contractor)

Schedule: Flexible – contractors are expected to provide a minimum of 3–4 days of availability per week. Technicians must submit their availability approximately 10 days in advance.

Pay : Pay is per completed job. The average technician is paid around $1,000 per week , with weekly payouts . Established technicians can earn over $50,000 annually .

Sign-On Bonus : $1,000 after successful completion of the first 100 jobs. A technician can typically complete two jobs per day .

• Example: At 4 days per week, completing 2 jobs per day, a technician would finish 100 jobs in approximately 12–13 weeks (about 3 months).

Responsibilities/Requirements :

• Install and service residential and/or commercial internet equipment.
• Perform light manual labor as needed for installation.
• Travel within assigned service area to customer locations

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Dependable work truck or van capable of transporting installation tools and equipment.
• Ownership of basic hand tools and a 20-foot (or taller) ladder .
• Ability to pass background screening.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety.
• Prior installation or technical experience preferred, but training may be provided.
