Counter Sales PersonSeeking a Counter Sales person for a busy company!Job duties include:Greet Customers, answer phones and direct callsCross-reference part numbers, measure fittings and identify replacements from samples or descriptionsBuild and assemble hydraulic hose assemblies to specificationsProcess sales transactions, quotes, and special orders using P21/inventory softwareMaintain accurate stock levels; pull, restock, and organize inventoryAnswer phone/email inquiries and provide pricing/availability informationUpsell related products (adapters, clamps, tools) where appropriateRequirements:Experience in hydraulic/industrial hose and fittings, or similar counter salesThis position requires a valid driver’s licenseAbility to read technical specs, measure fittings and use reference chartsBasic mechanical aptitude, hose crimping experience, industrial auto-lubrication a plusStrong customer service and communication skillsComfortable learning different computer systemsHigh School diploma or GEDForklift certification is a plusPrevious inventory experience
