We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform thorough dental cleanings, patient assessments, and assist with various dental procedures, ensuring high standards of infection control and patient education. Employment Type Full-time Requirements Dentrix Eaglesoft Infection Control License Licensed dental hygienist Open Dental Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Minnesota. Current CPR certification. Proven experience in chairside assisting and general dentistry procedures. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and patient assessment techniques. Proficiency with dental software systems (experience with Softdent preferred). Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients of all ages. Commitment to maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor in a team environment. Job Description Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and oral examinations for patients across all age groups. Assess patients’ oral health by taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories accurately. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and emphasize the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain detailed, accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and clinic policies. Apply strict aseptic and infection control techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures. Assist dentists chairside with general and pediatric dentistry procedures as needed. Collaborate effectively with dentists, assistants, and office staff to ensure seamless patient care. Stay current with industry best practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.
