LPN - LTC

Registered Nurse - Long Term Care (Geriatrics)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, every other weekend, and holidays as needed.

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a long-term care unit specializing in geriatric patients. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills in managing patients with complex needs and will be comfortable with a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Admission and discharge of patients
• Preparation and management of medications, including IVs and central lines
• Monitoring and managing patient vitals and symptoms
• Providing patient and family education
• Conducting assessments and care planning
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Utilizing electronic medical records (EPIC)

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
• BLS certification is required
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Previous nursing home or skilled nursing facility experience preferred
• Active nursing license must be in hand at the time of submission
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required, with medical/religious exemptions only
