Laboratory Coordinator

Pay Rate: $25/hour Location: Salt Lake City, UT Job Type: Contract to Hire Safety Sensitive Position Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Lab Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support within a laboratory setting. This role will involve administrative tasks, light lab duties, and sample testing. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, familiarity with MS Office, and a willingness to learn laboratory procedures. SAP experience is preferred but not required. Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative support, including word processing, filing, scheduling, financial record-keeping, and procurement of supplies. Answer phone calls, direct visitors, and coordinate meetings and conferences. Assist with lab operations, including sample tracking, labeling, and routing. Perform routine laboratory functions such as maintaining equipment, preparing lab materials, and supporting experiments as needed. Accurately conduct specified lab tests, document findings, and compile data for reports. Assist in quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) duties. Prepare solutions and mixtures as required. Calibrate, maintain, and perform minor repairs on lab equipment per manufacturer guidelines. Qualifications: 2-5 years of administrative experience (experience in a lab setting is a plus). Familiarity with standard laboratory techniques, safety procedures, and scientific terminology. Strong communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). SAP experience preferred but not required. Ability to follow specific laboratory protocols and procedures. Why Join Us?
