This role operates with a high degree of autonomy and independence and serves as a subject matter expert on existing capabilities, competitive positioning, and market dynamics. The Product Manager partners closely with Product Owners, design, technology, and scrum teams to ensure effective roadmap development and execution.Job Functions, Essential Duties, and ResponsibilitiesProduct Vision and RoadmapClearly articulate the objectives for assigned products, features, and/or capabilities and define the path to achieving themDevelop and own the product vision with a strong focus on measurable outcomesLead roadmap development in partnership with design, technology, and scrum teamsPartner with Sales and Marketing to translate the roadmap into compelling external messaging (“selling futures”)Stay current on industry trends and competitive dynamics, including relative market positioningIdentify new opportunities for differentiation, innovation, and growthClient ExperienceDevelop a deep understanding of how target audiences engage with our products across the full customer journeyDefine and own an end-to-end view of the customer experience and all associated interactionsPartner with UX/design teams to plan customer engagement and gather actionable feedbackOversee customer research to inform product requirements and prioritiesMaintain a relentless focus on usability by identifying and resolving key customer pain pointsMaximizing Product ValuePartner with the Product Lead to maximize the value of assigned products, features, and/or capabilities across the businessEstablish and manage success metrics; take accountability for achieving defined goalsPartner with segment leaders and shared services to drive adoption across the client baseCreate and enhance internal and external documentation that clearly communicates the full product offeringServe as the internal and external subject matter expert for assigned products and capabilitiesRoadmap Development and ExecutionPartner closely with Product Owners and scrum teams to develop data-driven, outcomes-based roadmapsTranslate customer insights, business needs, and desired outcomes into prioritized, actionable roadmapsEnsure alignment between vision, execution, and measurable resultsSkills and CapabilitiesProven ability to define a compelling product vision with clear success metricsExperience owning and driving product roadmaps using Agile methodologiesStrong leadership skills, including people management and influence without authorityAbility to deliver results with limited oversightExcellent communication and influencing skills across diverse stakeholder groupsStrong stakeholder management and cross-functional partnership abilitiesHighly organized, able to prioritize effectively, and manage competing demandsSelf-motivated with high integrity and professional ethicsExperience5–7+ years of product management experience in Retirement or Financial ServicesExperience delivering digital experiences across web, mobile, and cross-channel platformsDeep understanding of the retirement industry and competitive landscapePersonal QualitiesAdaptable, resilient, and decisiveEnergetic, committed, and results-orientedHigh personal and professional integrityWilling to roll up sleeves and executeProactive, resourceful, and flexibleThe I-Client philosophy and the Core Values of People Matter, Quality First and Integrity Always should be visible in your actions on a day to day basis showing your support of our organizational culture.We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.Compensation and BenefitsThe national average salary range for this role is $130,000–$150,000 in base pay, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as location, experience, performance, and internal pay alignment.
