Operating Room Technician (ORT) – Portland, Maine. • Position Description: Assist surgical teams by preparing operating rooms, maintaining sterile environments, and supporting surgical procedures in a 26-bed operating room unit. Experience in Level 1 trauma settings and specialties such as General, GU/GYN, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, and Endovascular is preferred.
• Equipment: Storz, Stryker, Olympus, Intuitive Robot
• EMR: Epic
• Position focused on providing coverage for leave.
• Additional Information: The position includes one overnight call from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. for trauma call, with scheduling based on specialty team rules for specific surgical disciplines. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility, accountability, timeliness, and the ability to work well within a team. Scrubs are teal and issued by the hospital.
