Florida Licensed Medical Billing Specialist

To support the revenue cycle team, the full-time Florida Licensed Medical Billing Specialist will manage billing inquiries, process insurance claims, and resolve patient accounts while working remotely. Key responsibilities Provide support to patients and providers on billing-related inquiries and account resolutions Process and post payments to accounts on the same day and meet timelines for reprocessing claims Conduct meetings with patients regarding payment collections and assist with hardship applications and payment plans Required qualifications Thorough knowledge of insurance carrier billing, CPT codes, and modifiers Experience with claim adjudication and understanding of carrier rules Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines to protect patient information Proven ability to meet or exceed monthly performance goals Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and insurance carriers
