Import Coordinator (Entry Level) - 1 Month Contract
Canton, MI | 1st Shift | $19/hr | Temporary 1-Month Assignment
We are seeking a detail-oriented Import Coordinator to join our client's team in Canton, MI for a one month contract. This entry-level customer service and logistics role serves as a key connection between customers, carriers, customs brokers, and government agencies to help ensure the smooth import and delivery of goods.
Responsibilities
- Review and process import documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs-related paperwork
- Communicate shipment updates, tracking information, and clearance status to customers
- Resolve delivery delays and coordinate with freight forwarders, trucking companies, and customs brokers
- Enter shipment and billing data accurately into company systems
- Support compliance with U.S. Customs and other government agency requirements
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
