Sterile Processing Tech (Central Sterile Processing Technician) Detroit, Michigan

The Central Sterile Processing Technician ensures sterile products and instruments are prepared and delivered to support the healthcare team. This role requires accurate processing practices, including the ability to read and interpret temperature gauges. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days; Morning shift (6:30 AM3:00 PM); 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent education; completion of an appropriate aide training program, or a central technician program, or 6 months of previous experience in central supply; NICHSPDP certification required; ability to read, write, and perform arithmetic; ability to read temperature gauges
• Additional Information: Weekends are required. The first day will be a day shift to obtain a badge and other access.
