Daycare Assistant

With opportunities available immediately, this summer, and into the 2026–2027 school year. We’re hiring multiple substitute preschool teachers to support school districts and private preschool centers. The roles vary from mid-term substitute placements, with you working directly in a classroom Monday through Friday, supporting students and staff on a consistent, daily basis. Zen Educate is tackling the educator shortage by helping schools connect with passionate teaching assistants and paraprofessionals. You’ll be stepping into a teaching assistant position at a preschool site, helping to lead activities, manage the classroom, and provide a safe and nurturing environment for children ages 2 –5. You’ll follow the school’s curriculum and routines while collaborating with other teachers and support staff. Assisting with daily classroom routines and activities for children ages 2–5 -Support children’s social, emotional, and academic growth -Assist with personal care duties such as toileting and diapering. Highschool Diploma or GED -A minimum of 6 months of experience in a licensed childcare center or similar group setting -Must be reliable, professional, and passionate about early learning 1 year of experience in early childhood education -Bilingual in English/Spanish -College units completed in ECE coursework. -Pay: $21 - $23 per hour Schedule: Flexibility of work, Monday through Friday Weekly pay - Supportive team and training provided -Opportunities to grow with additional assignments or school sites Apply today and help every student reach their full potential
