Overview Calvis is making the trillion-dollar physical security industry AI-native. Today the industry is outdated, fragmented, and run on pen and paper. With Calvis, Humans + AI work together to secure the world. Our marketplace connects businesses with vetted security guards who work every shift using our AI copilot. It briefs them, takes their reports, and helps them do a great job. Meanwhile, every shift generates data that continuously makes our AI better. We enhance guards with robots and AI video monitoring, making Calvis the only all-in-one security offering on the market. Clients across the country, from critical infrastructure to manufacturing facilities, trust Calvis to help keep them safe. Very small team, in person, in office. Work directly with the CEO and CTO. The business has grown fast over the last year, and our growth rate is only accelerating. Complete ownership and autonomy. You own what you work on, end to end, and you decide how to build it. We have plans, but autonomy is the point: it means looking around corners and building for what's coming before it's on our roadmap. Your work ships fast and lands in the real world with real guards. Everything is still early. You'd be our first designer — what Calvis looks and feels like from here is yours to define. The role Design how AI shows up in the physical world: the copilot a guard talks to all night, the alerts a business acts on, and guards, robots, and sensors working together on a live site. Own products end-to-end. You get to understand the guards and customers who use what you build, figure out what they need, and ship. Work across every surface we have: web dashboard, native iOS and Android apps, and internal ops tools. Build the design system, the brand, and the quality bar — the foundation everyone hired after you builds on. Take what\'s working and raise it. Our products have real usage and real revenue but have never had a designer. You\'ll iterate against live usage and turn working v1s into experiences people love.
