Retail Assistant Store Manager $17.40 to $20.40 per hour. Commission structure up to 8% on transactions, average additional $1.94 per hour on top of hourly rate. Position Summary Assistant Store Manager with minimum 6+ months management experience, or third key experience. Accountable for day‑to‑day operations, leading and developing store employees, recruiting and retaining talent, maximizing financial goals, and managing customer relations. Works with jewelry, general merchandise, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more. The position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on performance and a bonus tied to store results. Pay determined by location, qualifications and experience. Responsibilities Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers pleasantly and addressing issues. Train pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards. Recruit top talent through prescribed channels. Open and close the store: counting cash drawers, inventory, ensuring all procedures are followed to protect assets. Ensure asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, documentation and securing customer loans. Administer store processes: inventory, loan management, merchandising, presentation, systems, and reporting. Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability via communication and goal setting. Ensure operating standards meet or exceed FirstCash standards. Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure value and integrity of all loans. Complete assigned self‑development training. Communicate clearly with employees to ensure they understand the mission and profit objectives. Remain up‑to‑date on product knowledge. Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling and lifting. Can lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Demonstrated supervisory experience. Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification. May assist customers in parking lots or retrieve products from exterior storage. Minimum age 18. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Ready to work multiple locations as business needs dictate. Willingness to work flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Expected to work 40+ hours a week; hours based on business needs and not guaranteed. Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and office machines. Ability to multi‑task in fast‑paced environment. Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills. Analytical skills.
