Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at West Haven Healthcare in West Covina, California. As a Registered Nurse (RN) at West Haven Healthcare, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents. You will be responsible for administering nursing care, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, and supervising nursing staff. Responsibilities

• Administers nursing care as indicated by the nursing care plan and in compliance with all Regulatory Agencies
• Demonstrates ability to provide appropriate and quality nursing care to residents, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care
• Documents resident care and reports pertinent clinical observations and reactions to the appropriate individual
• Participates in interdisciplinary team conferences and relays treatment plan decisions to the other members of the nursing team
• Reports all abnormal test results to physician in a timely manner; triages activities based on borderline and/or abnormal and/or unusual findings
• Assists with resident re-assessments during each shift and when the resident condition changes
• Maintains a current, accurate listing of all resident medications and transcribes, administers, and documents medications according to policy and procedure
• Participates in performance improvement activities and serves as a resource for staff on various topics related to resident care

Requirements

• Minimum of H.S. degree or equivalent
• Long-Term care experience preferably in a skilled nursing setting
• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the State of California
• Must be certified in CPR
• IV certification
• Must maintain current licensure in good standing during employment with this facility in accordance to the State Board

Salary

• $48 - $53 HOURLY
