Manufacturing Assembler

Position Summary


Detail-oriented and dependable Assembly Technician responsible for assembling customer-specific products using hand and power tools while following blueprints and work instructions to ensure quality and accuracy.


Key Responsibilities


• Assemble small and large components with the use of small power tools, hand tools or physical force to meet engineering drawing requirements.


• Ability to read and understand blueprints, work instructions, routers


• Use of horizontal press and pallet jack.


• Ability to see, handle and inspect small components.


• Ability to lift larger assembled products up to 50lbs.


• Maintain a safe and clean environment to eliminate foreign object debris (FOD) and other hazards.


• Maintain pace with other team members to provide high quality thru put.


• Inspect material for visual defects.


• Ability to assemble heavy equipment and move into staging location for extended periods.


Qualifications


• Minimum 2 years of assembly experience.


• Ability to read and communicate in English for safety and instructional reasons.


• Mechanically inclined.


• Dependable and reliable. A MUST


• Stand, lift 50 LBs, assemble for long periods of time.


• All candidates must pass a drug screening and pass a criminal background check.


Salary & Benefits


• Starting Pay is $18.00 /hour


• Working Schedule is: 7:00am - 3:30pm, occasional overtime may be required


• Air-conditioned work environment
