GA - Clinical Program Coordinator

HEALTH CONNECT AMERICA, INC

Job Description

Job Description

Overview

Some careers are just jobs. This one is different. At Georgia HOPE , the work you do every day creates meaningful change for children, families, and individuals who need it most.

We're a Georgia-based behavioral health provider on a mission to instill hope, empower lives, and strengthen communities. Our team specializes in supporting individuals facing emotional and behavioral challenges—often those who have experienced trauma, instability, or significant life stressors. We deliver services directly in the homes, schools, and communities where our clients live and grow, because real progress happens when care is personalized, strengths-focused, and meets people where they are.

As part of the Health Connect America family—a COA-accredited organization serving children, families, and adults across nine states—you'll have the resources, support, and professional development of a larger organization, paired with the close-knit, mission-focused culture that defines our work.

If you’re looking for a career where your impact is visible, your growth is supported, and your work truly matters, you’ll find it here.

Responsibilities

If you're someone who believes exceptional behavioral health care is built through strong clinical leadership, operational excellence, and supporting both clients and colleagues, this role was built for you.

As a C linical Program Coordinator at Georgia HOPE, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services by supporting clinical operations, mentoring team members, and helping programs run smoothly. Working alongside clinical and operational leaders, you'll strengthen service delivery while promoting best practices, accountability, and exceptional client care.

What You'll Do

As a Clinical Program Coordinator, you'll provide clinical, operational, and administrative support that helps both clients and staff succeed. Your work will be collaborative, leadership-focused, and centered on maintaining quality, compliance, and positive outcomes. Day to day, you can expect to:

  • Support the day-to-day clinical and operational functions of the program, including care coordination, admissions, staff scheduling, documentation compliance, billing support, and communication with referral sources, clients, and community partners.

  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor by modeling best practices, promoting accountability, participating in treatment team meetings, and supporting staff development, licensure supervision, onboarding, and ongoing training.

  • Review clinical documentation for quality, accuracy, and compliance while ensuring services meet organizational standards, payer requirements, and accreditation expectations.

  • Assist with program growth and operational initiatives, including recruitment, marketing, strategic planning, budgeting support, meeting facilitation, and performance improvement activities.

  • Provide direct clinical services to assigned clients, when requested by the Program Director, while maintaining timely documentation and adherence to all clinical, state, and payer requirements.

  • Foster a culture of professionalism, collaboration, quality improvement, and culturally responsive care while supporting the organization's mission and ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and regulations.

What to Expect

This is a leadership role that combines clinical expertise with operational coordination. You'll partner closely with Program Directors, clinicians, and administrative staff to ensure high-quality service delivery while supporting the professional growth of your team and the continued success of the program.

Your schedule may include a combination of administrative responsibilities, staff mentorship, meetings, documentation review, and, when needed, direct client care in community-based settings.

Success in this role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to balance multiple priorities, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative, accountable, and client-centered culture.

Qualifications

We welcome candidates who are passionate about advancing high-quality behavioral health services through clinical leadership, operational excellence, and team collaboration. If you're committed to mentoring others, driving quality care, and making a meaningful impact in your community, we'd love to hear from you. Successful candidates will bring:

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field

  • Current licensure or license eligibility as required by state regulations (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT)

  • Experience providing clinical behavioral health services, preferably in community-based settings, with prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred

  • Strong clinical knowledge in behavioral health assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and compliance with state, payer, and accreditation standards

  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to mentor staff, coordinate operations, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office, along with a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel throughout the community as needed
